When we want something it is just that we want it. If we don’t have it is not a detriment to our being. But when we genuinely desire something, it is deep within our soul. It is something missing within. It is a missing piece to make ourselves whole.

That is what change must be for you to start the process of growing into a better you. It needs to be a part of you. It needs to be the missing piece that keeps you going forward and brings fulfillment into your life. But don’t think it will happen overnight. It took you years to get where you are today.   • Coaching and therapy are distinct disciplines. Therapy focuses on diagnosing and treating psychological disorders, conditions, or mental health issues. The therapy process is intended as a healing treatment for clients struggling with unhealthy behaviours or damaging thought or emotional patterns.

    Coaching, on the other hand, does not treat disorders or conditions. Coaching is centered on self-improvement and achieving goals. Clients work with a coach to gain clarity on what they want to change or accomplish and to develop strategies and plans for making impactful transformations in their lives. Coaching is a forward-looking, action-oriented process for clients who are otherwise physically and mentally healthy but want to advance themselves personally or professionally.

  • People hire coaches when they feel stuck in some area of their life or have encountered an obstacle that is blocking their progress. They may have a goal in mind but aren't sure how to achieve it, or they may sense that something needs to change but don't know what steps to take. Check their credentials, schedule an initial consultation to discuss your goals and get a sense of their coaching style. Consider personality fit and evaluate cost versus value. Ultimately, trust your instincts when selecting a coach - choose someone who inspires confidence, listens well, challenges assumptions constructively, provides support when needed while holding confidentiality sacredly but being honest about progress made towards achieving set goals.
